What Should I Expect on the Day of my Laser Skin Tightening Treatment?
After thoroughly cleansing your skin, we will provide you with a pair of protective eyewear and then allow you to get comfortable in one of our reclining chairs. Dr. Zamora will then apply a thin layer of cooling gel, which will absorb some heat and energy to reduce your discomfort. Short laser pulses will be directed at specific areas of your face over a period of around 15 to 20 minutes. This is followed by a moisturizing cream and/or sunblock to protect your skin and promote good healing. More than one session is normally needed to provide optimum results. Before you leave, we will schedule you for your next appointment, and give you a full set of instructions to follow in between visits.

Your skin may be more sensitive than usual following each treatment, particularly your first. It may seem as though there is little improvement in the beginning, but this is because it takes several weeks for new collagen to form. As such, you will notice gradual improvement over a period of several weeks following your final session.
