Sculptra® is a unique injectable treatment that can replace collagen lost from the natural aging process. It enables the body to produce natural facial rejuvenation, so you can achieve youthful, natural-looking results. Sergio M. Zamora MD, FACS offers Sculptra® to patients in Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and the surrounding communities in Florida.

What is Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is an injectable treatment that sets itself apart with its ability to replace lost collagen. Unlike many dermal fillers, which simply add artificial volume to the skin, the Sculptra® formula is made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. Upon injection, Sculptra® triggers the body to make new collagen that can rejuvenate and support the surrounding skin tissue. Over time, Sculptra® helps restore volume and diminish wrinkles in the face.

What are the Benefits of Sculptra®?

Sculptra® offers subtle, natural-looking results through collagen stimulation. As the only injectable treatment of its kind, it offers the following benefits:

  • Naturally restores facial volume
  • Gradually diminishes lines and wrinkles
  • More youthful appearance, without looking like you’ve had work done
  • Quick 30-minute treatment session
  • Little to no downtime
  • Results last up to 2 years

Who is an Ideal Candidate for Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is ideal for patients who want to address volume loss, nasolabial folds and other facial wrinkles while maintaining a natural-looking appearance. Since Sculptra® stimulates natural collagen production to produce results, you won’t look overdone or unnatural. However, the best way to evaluate your candidacy for treatment is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Zamora so you can discuss your goals one-on-one and determine the best treatment plan for your needs.

What Should I Expect on the Day of my Sculptra®?

The Sculptra® procedure will begin with Dr. Zamora applying a topical anesthetic to the skin, which numbs the treatment area to minimize discomfort. Then, Sculptra® will be injected into and around the desired treatment area. You may feel a slight pinch during this process. The exact number and location of these injections will vary depending on your treatment goals. The entire Sculptra® treatment is usually performed in less than 30 minutes.

What Can I Expect After My Sculptra® Injections?

Sculptra® is designed to produce gradual results in the months following your treatment, so don’t expect to see results right away. You can expect some minor swelling and bruising due to the injection process, but these symptoms should resolve within a few days. Furthermore, you’ll be able to return to your normal routine immediately after treatment. You’ll begin to notice results approximately 6 weeks after treatment, with continued improvements over the following months alongside additional treatment sessions. We typically recommend a series of three Sculptra® treatment sessions over the course of three to four months.

How Long Do the Sculptra® Results Last?

The results from Sculptra® are long-lasting thanks to the collagen-stimulating benefits of the poly-L-lactic acid formula. Patients can expect results to last up to 2 years.

How Much Do Sculptra® Injections Cost in Daytona Beach?

The cost of Sculptra® injections can vary depending on the number of treatment sessions required, and how much Sculptra® is needed for each treatment session. To make Sculptra® as affordable as possible, we accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards, in addition to a number of affordable financing options.
